Over the past three months, Acessa Trabalho has remained committed to its mission of preparing adolescents and young people in socially vulnerable situations for the job market. During this period, we served 20 young people, offering workshops on computer skills, oral and written communication, essay writing, résumé building, and interview simulations. Our goal is to equip them with essential skills to secure their first professional opportunity.
One of the most remarkable experiences during this period was a visit the young participants made to a local company. For many, it was their first opportunity to see a corporate environment up close, understand its dynamics, and interact with experienced professionals. The visit was enriching and inspiring, allowing them to visualize their professional future more clearly. As a result of this experience, Rafaela, a 17-year-old participant, was offered a job at the company, taking an important step toward her independence and development.
With the support of the workshops, Rafaela gained confidence and learned to highlight her skills. The company visit was a turning point in her journey, as she was able to experience the work environment firsthand and connect with professionals who recognized her potential. Shortly after, she was hired as a young apprentice, beginning her professional journey with more security and motivation. Stories like hers highlight the importance of this project in transforming lives.
Our commitment continues! We are expanding partnerships and improving our methodologies to ensure more young people can access these opportunities. We appreciate the support of everyone who makes this project possible!
Stay tuned for more updates soon.
