Electricity in the community where Space4all is located is powered by a state-owned power company in Zambia; still, the cost is very high and the supply is very unreliable. Unreliable electricity makes it difficult to operate Space4all at efficiently full capacity every day. Installing Solar Panels will provide Space4all with environment-friendly renewable energy and a dependable source of unlimited cost-efficient energy, allowing us to run the centre effectively without interruptions.
We had hoped that we would be able to raise enough funds to purchase the solar panel but unfortunately, we have not been able to pull enough interest to raise the money we need for our solar panels, and we think it might be because we have another project on already which a lot of our support donated to. For this reason, we have decided to deactivate the project, and the $310.17 raised will be used to fund our community sensitisation workshops
