Still determined to invest in women to eliminate poverty.

The project has been very slow for the past three years due to no finances, ÿand we are currently focusing on monitoring and supporting the woemen with other projects that dont require much funding. We have not been able to enroll in a new class this year, too, due to limited finances. This is a challenge we have been facing since the Pandemice, and we devised means to ensure we keep empowering the women that have been through the class by ensuring they get orders and make profitable products in their tailoring business.
We have been able to boost them through facilitating Funacial literacy classes and teaching them how to manage their finances to be able to progress in life with the little they make from their small businesses. We were able to encourage them to save through different saving groups, which has enabled more members from the community to join as well. Through this program, 50 women from the community were trained.
As we progress, we embark on ensuring our goals, mission, and vision. Throughout our follow-up, we have seen some women start up their fashion businesses. Meet Sarah, one of the women. After graduation, she decided to empower young girls by training them on how to sew. She also started her fashion company, which she named Bampa Creations, where she makes incredible dresses for sale, and she has been able to better her life and her family. With the orders she makes, she is not worried about paying her bills or what to eat at home.
As always, there is no way we would have made this great impact without your support. As a thread of life, we are very grateful for your generosity. As we move forward, we need more support in order to progress and uplift many women as possible.
