Last week we hosted a Father's Day training at our Matero Community Care Center. We had a good mix of fathers, uncles, and brothers and there was lots of participation from everyone who attended. We discusses myths about disability and there were great interactions between the attendees and trainers. We're so thankful for all of the men who came out to learn more about the children in their lives who have intellectual disabilities. Thank you for your support that makes these community outreach events possible! Little by little, we are changing the culture to show love and care to all children, regardless of their ability.
