Greetings from Community Organising for Rural Upliftment Society.

We hope you are doing well, and staying safe in this critical junction.

Thank you very much for your supporting to Oldage Destitute Women through esteemed organization of GlobalGiving.

Thank you very much for your kind generosity and cooperation at this critical junction, your helping the Oldage destitute women in time without your online donations to the organization it is very difficult, so you have provided for welfare of the Oldage destitute women. We have spent this amount and provided three time meals to the Oldage home. We are expressing our gratitude to you and your family. The Oldage women are also very much happy and expressing their immersive thanks to you. Thank you very much for the welfare of Oldage Women due to poverty and negligence of their children, relatives, kin and kiths have given lot of troubles them. Thus we have left them houses, villages came to Kurnool city, became as begging foods, money, eatable items, sleeping at Bus station, Railway Station, Platform, Churches and temples etc., and leaving at most depressed and distressed conditions. During the rainy season and winter their facing lot of problems by affect of heavy rains and severe cold. The organization was identified them brought in to the Oldage home and provided Shelter, Food, Clothes and basic facilities to them by the help of local philanthropists and other likeminded people. But, due to COVID-19 the donations are not coming forward to help the Olage Women.

We were facing problems to provide daily food and other basic facility to them. At this critical junction you have provided and for welfare of Women. We have daily provided Tiffen, lunch, dinner tea and snacks to the Oldage Women. In addition to the above they need 20 Iron cots, 20 Beds, 20 Pillows, 20 Blankets, Food and Medicines, Medical treatment basic needs will be needed for the welfare of Oldage women. In order to maintain the Oldage home would be needed large amount per year. If is possible to your nobility kindly contact other humanitarians and extend. Once again we are expressing our thanks to you. If it is possible kindly extend your support to improve the present situation protect of the Oldage women from hunger, decease, illhealth, mental agony and other problems, your support in this noble cause on humanitarian grounds.

Shelter Food and Care for Oldaged poor Women India

Greetings from Community Organising for Rural Upliftment Society, Kurnool, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh, India.

First of all we are very much thankful and grateful for your wonderful timely support for the Oldage destitute women through our Organization in India.

We are very happy to inform you that our organization recognized as Effective Non-profit, Top Ranked, Vetted organization, Field Visit Certificate and Staff Favorite organization for the year 2019, and by the 501c3 tax deductible nonprofit organization of GlobalGiving Foundation, USA. We are expressing our sincere thanks to you for donating amount to feed the destitute Old age women in our Old Age Home run by Community Organising for Rural Upliftment Society (CORUS) Organization.

There are no standards prescribed for Old Age Homes. However, minimum facilities provided

for Staying, Food, Sleeping, Recreation, Clothes, Reading etc., have required in healthy atmosphere. A tie-up can be arranged with a local qualified Doctor for weekly basis consultation at the Old Age Home for regular check up and specific consultation by inmates. The CORUS organization have supplied free medicines to inmates.

The materials which are required to be consumed in Old Age Home are provisions, groceries, vegetables, toiletries, medicines, chemicals, washing soap, detergents, etc. These can be purchased on a monthly basis. All these items can be procured from regular suppliers.

By observing in the rural area of the District, some of the families having disputes and without any reason wrangles in between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law finally son forcefully join his mother in the old age homes. We only persuade always to lead the enduring life with dignity. After coming to Old age home, they are socializing with other inmates of the home. They forget about their kith and kin and they lead residual life peacefully in our Old age home. By timely help in our old age home, we are able to see their healthiness have been improving and having hope on their remaining lives. We are in need of generous support of donors to continue our services to the older persons in time without your online donations to organization it is very difficult for us to help the destitute Old age women.

Some of the Other activities in the Oldage Home

Recreation:

The home celebrates some special occasions like Christmas, New Year and other festivals by distributing sweets and other items.

Medical Checkups:

The health condition of all inmates of home is monitored regularly by a medical practitioner on Salary basis, who visits the home once in a week and also attends to emergencies. Advanced medical equipment like Digital BP meter and one touch blood sugar monitor and other medical equipments are made available to closely monitor for the health condition.

Future Plan for the improvement:

To purchase the housesite for construction of the building.

To construct a pucca building with good amenities, that can accommodate for

50 oldage women in the home.
