By Aluwani Ramarumo | ShE Lead
We are thrilled to announce that this coming April, we will be celebrating a milestone – our 10th anniversary! Since its inception, the ShE is Empowered (ShE) Program has played a pivotal role in equipping young African women with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to lead and implement meaningful change across 15 countries in Africa.
As we reflect on this incredible journey of transformation, growth, and impact, this milestone represents more than just a celebration. It is a reaffirmation of our commitment to empowering African youth, particularly women and girls, who remain at the heart of our work.
Thanks to your invaluable support, we’ve empowered hundreds of young African women, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
Program Update: Empowering Tomorrow's Women Leaders
In the past quarter, ShE participants have immersed themselves in six intensive modules and three interactive workshops, designed to strengthen their leadership, project management, and advocacy skills. These sessions went beyond theory, providing practical tools to help them implement and sustain their Community Engagement Projects (CEPs). With these real-world tools, our leaders are equipped to create lasting change in their communities.
