Today we received the donations that we raised during the GlobalGiving UK Gateway Challenge. We are very thankful to everyone that contributed to our cause. Because of your very valuable and generous support, we were able to raise over £2500, completing the Gateway Challenge and guaranteeing us a permanent place on the GlobalGiving UK website. This will allow us to continue to receive donations through the site, helping us to ensure the sustainability of our work for many years to come.
Each and every penny that has been given has been incredibly valuable to us, not just in terms of monetary value, but by motivating us to continue our commitment to serve the underprivileged children of Bhavnagar. The money raised will be used for a wide range of purposes, including:
- covering the cost’s of children’s attendance of Balsena, Shaishav’s children’s collective
- providing Balsena teams with educational libraries
- providing girls with bicycles, enabling them to attend school and other activities
- covering the costs of 2-day leadership camps for children
- providing college tuition fees for youth
We will keep you updated about the progress of the project and utilisation of resources, and look forward to your continuing interest and support in the days to come.
