Hello and Happy New Year!

By Karen Wienberg | Chair,Board of Directors

Meet Franckie. He is ready for a new life!
Meet Franckie. He is ready for a new life!

Although we are just a few weeks into 2015, it promises to be a very full and exciting year for the work of Little Footprints Big Steps.

The amazing first ever Street Child Consultation event, organized by LFBS and co-hosted with Haiti Social Services, was a huge success. For photos and complete summary, please see the new Blog: "Street Children Have Voices Too" http://www.littlefootprintsbigsteps.com/blog/

The result has been 18 former street youth reunited with their families and registered for school – some for the FIRST time ever! Your support for the tuition, supplies and tutoring is SO important in ensuring their success in this exciting, but frightening new life. I have attached photos of some of these terrific and brave people.

The fifth anniversary of the devastating earthquake of January 12, 2010 resulted in worldwide media focus on Little Footprints Big Steps work and the organization’s young determined founder, Morgan Wienberg.

Thank you so much for being such a huge part of this work. Every step we take, you are with us!
