The SEAM project has begun construction on the library. In a few more weeks construction will be complete and we can start moving in books that the children will have access to. Once construction on the library is complete, we plan on painting the initials of all the people who helped by donating on each of the bricks on the back wall, and have the children paint the rest of the walls. Then, if our budget allows, add some solar power as a way of teaching the children about free green energy.
In the time being the children have continued with their programs which include reading, puzzles, tree planting and research on what each plant they grow is and does, storytelling and more.
Mentors have also started coming to the project site to hang out with the children and teach them new things.
