Dear PFK Supporters,
I am happy to share that last month we visisted Myanmar for the first time in 4.5 years....and it was wonderful to be back! We received a very warm welcome...and boy, we sure did very much miss our team and the wonderful people of Myanmar!
Throughout the week we were there we met with our Board members, local supporters and sponsors,and friends of PFK. We learned about the many changes in daily life, teacher shortage, and discussed extensively the best and safest way to relaunch our program to help our children.
We will relaunch in Myanmar in March 2025 when the children return to school after their break.
We will spend the next six months preparing to ensure our success and outreach is to as many children as possible and finalize the logistics.
We look forward to continuing our mission and updating you on our progress.
