What a year it’s been! Can you believe we’re nearing the end of 2024?
I’m thrilled to share our latest project with you on GlobalGiving: Scaling Up for Impact. Since we began Footprints 4 Sam in October 2017, it’s been amazing to see how far we’ve come in the palliative healthcare space. Through our six key initiatives, we’re making a real difference in the lives of underprivileged children living with life-limiting illnesses, along with their families and the healthcare teams who care for them. Seven years later, Sam’s legacy has truly grown into a global community of supporters, thanks to donors like you.
So far, our dedicated volunteers and Board of Trustees have helped us reach countless families. But as we keep growing, we see more clearly how essential palliative care is in South Africa’s government hospitals. To answer this call, we’re bringing on a few professional team members to help us expand.
Imagine a dedicated Footprints 4 Sam team focused on what matters most, a Co-ordinator for each of our growing initiatives who can devote their time and expertise to expanding, developing, and maximising their impact. With this support, our initiatives could truly reach their full potential and make an even bigger difference!
