I am Yesenia, originally from the community of Santiago Lalopa, Villa Alta, Oaxaca. I am 15 years old and currently in the first semester of Comprehensive Community High School No. 17. I speak Zapotec, my native language. My parents, Venustiano Onésimo Yescas Santiago (Deceased), and Leticia Fabián Santiago, 47, are widowed.

With great emotion and profound gratitude, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the economic support you have given to the Guadalupe Musalem A.C. Fund and, through it, to me.

Thanks to your generosity and commitment, I have had the opportunity to receive financial support that has been essential to continue my academic training. It has motivated me to strive every day, knowing that there are people and institutions that believe in my potential and that of many young women like me. Furthermore, the Guadalupe Musalem Fund has given me the opportunity to meet and spend time with other girls who, like me, share dreams, goals, and aspirations. These experiences have been invaluable, allowing me to learn from them, strengthen bonds of friendship, and build a support network that inspires me to keep moving forward. I recognize that their support goes beyond financial support, as it represents a tangible demonstration of solidarity, trust, and hope for a better future for young Oaxacan women with low economic resources. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity they have given me and for everything I have learned thanks to this wonderful community.
