Dear Supporters,
Every year, The Nyalenda slums in Kisumu face devastating effects of heavy downpours. These rains result in flooding that destroys homes, leaving many families homeless and vulnerable. The challenges posed by these recurring floods are immense, yet they inspire resilienve and unity within our community.
The James Were Foundation has been in the forefront in mobilizing resources to assist affected families in the rebuilding their lives. Through this effort, we have been able to construct ne mud- walled houses for displaced families, providing them with shelter and hope.
As we begin tnis new year, the task ahead reamins daunting. The rains have already started, increasing the urgency of our mission. Tnis year, we aim to rebuild and provide homes for more than 15 families who have been affected by the floods. However, achieving this goal will require collective effort and the continued support of our partners and well- wishers.
we are deeply grateful for your generosity and committment which make this work possible.Together,we can restore dignity and hope to the families in Nyalenda Kisumu Kenya.Thank you for standing with us in this Journey of rebuilding lives.
