The victim families and project beneficiaries are seriously affected by hand to mouth problem of day to day livelihood from the effect of COVID-19 pandemic.They faced from the termination of job and employment including migrant labour.Their dependent childrens are facing malnutrition and under nutritioned.They dont have any other sources of income.
Under these current situation of COVID-19 pandemic,MRC Nepal provided continued technical back stopping support for agricultural income generation activities,skill enahancement capacity building training and seed/inputs distribution for vegetable production in home garden.From these small pieces of agricultural land, victim beneficiaries earned very good and attractive income which supported their hand to mouth problem and day to day livelihood.Beneficiaries are so excited and happy with these income and stay at home under these pandemic.MRC Nepal capacitated them against COVID-19 for hand washing,use of sanitizer,use of face mask and make social distancing when outing.
MRC Nepal organize virtual meeting,workshop and training continuously where beneficiaries are kept in touch.They are demanding many support on Agricultural activities for income generation and support for livelihood.
