By Theophilus Ekpon | Project Coordinator
We are glad to share with you this progress report on the Save Street Children project in Nigeria. Thank you for your continuous donations and support that has kept this project going even in the midst of COVID-19. The two girls who are presently the only recipients of this project continue to stay home as schools remain closed due to the pandemic. The limited penetration of technology in the North East region of Nigeria where these children are based made it impossible for schools to go online.
The Centre for Sustainable Development and Education in Africa (CSDEA) continue to provide the two girls with accommodation, food and other basic needs courtesy of your generous donations. Earlier this month, one of the girls took ill with Typhoid Fever and was attended to at a local hospital in Yola, Adamawa State. She is now well and playing with her mates. Thank you once again for your sustained support to this project!
