During this quarter from October, 2024 to January, 2025 the earthquake affected families survive in very difficult situation of hard winter season in Nepal. Most of the time they live inside the house discourage outside farm works. However, for short term income generation activities they involved in off season vegetable farming in developing forced structure and tunneling. So that they will be able to generate income and invest on food security and social ceremony to forget stress of earthquake. MRC Nepal provided good quality seed and materials for production, technical backstopping and skill enhancement training as per requirement.
Along wih this MRC Nepal also supported for blanket and bedding materials for saving from hard winter to older age women and men. MRC Nepal created social harmony in the village through various level of motivation and counseling to live as a human being. At the end the earthquake affected victim families exclaimed with pleasur that "Thanks to GlobalGiving and MRC Nepal for long term supporting us and healing the difficult situation and stress."
