Dear donors and supporters,
As announced in a previous report, recently we have been working in a complementary field for this project: to seek for an improvement on the school playground, a venue in which many of our activities for this conservation initiative takes place.
And this month or next one the latest, we are expecting to have a visit from a company based in our capital city (Bogotá), they have offered to provide an important support to that school of Guáquira where we are focusing our work with this project so far, improving their playground as we just said but, including in it an extra purpose to motivate environmental education & joy, so it might boost this project purposes, due to a positive impact to children.
An arqhitect who is cooperating with our nonprofit these days has created a preliminary sketch for that purpose (see it attached - it shows a before-and-after of an eco-village playground idea), and we are currently working on preparing a budget and a timeline to discuss it further with that company, aiming to define a start up in a short term.
This has been possible thanks to the activities we have been able to carry out within the framework of thi project being benefited with your donations and support, therefore this is for us a new opportunity to express our gratitude to all of you for that.
