this project will help curtail the transmission of corona virus in Makeni city where the incidence of cross-contamination is significantly increased, by providing hand washing stations in strategic places for 100,000 people to be washing hands. Residents in rural places are at risk due to the community environment According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), hand washing is the single most important and effective method of preventing disease transmission.
Currently there are about 4,347,935 cases of corona virus globally, the world has lost 297,241 to the pandemic Sierra Leone recording 447 cases total quarantine 2,240. the government is trying to curtail it but people are not following policies because of their poverty status this is self-evident in the way many people still go about their daily business, work, without any regard for social distancing rules, people are exposed to the virus this project will help 50,000 people be safe.
We will achieve the prevention of transmission of corona virus by; 1. Providing people with Antiseptic hand washing stations 2. Awareness creation on the virus and Passing Knowledge on the importance of hand washing.
1) the project will provide hand washing stations and create awareness to 50,000 people allowing them to break the transmission of the virus and be free from contacting the corona virus.
