Thanks for supporting women & children in Armenia!

Dear WSC supporters,
With your generous support, over the last year and few months we have raised nearly $34,000 to provide shelter assistance to women and children survivors of domestic violence from all across Armenia.
Our main shelter is currently housing 3 women and their 5 children, from 6 months to 12 years of age. Last week, the children celebrated Trndez, among Armenia's most beloved and joyful holidays, playing like all children should have the opportunity to do. Looking at their smiling faces, one would never know the tragedy they and their mothers have seen.
It's our mission at the WSC to ensure that the women and children who come to us not only escape abusive households for good but are well on the path to readjustment and attaining a good quality of life. That's why we work with them to rebuild their lives, providing them with counseling, legal representation, medical care, and a wide array of educational programs to get them back on their feet.
Since we established the WSC in 2010, more and more women have been coming to us for support, and we can expect this number to continue to grow as the stigma around domestic violence recedes.
We are so grateful to supporters like you who are making a difference in the lives of women and children in Armenia by ensuring that they have the opportunity to live peacefully and reintegrate into society.
