Safe Deliveries in Poor Communities (Aug-Oct)

By Beenish Ehsan | Communications Officer

Dear Global Giving Donors,

We are so thankful for your continued support that has allowed us to achieve results beyond our imagination.  With your unfaltering support, we have continued our campaign of delivering safe babies in underprivileged areas of Lahore, Pakistan.

Our aim is to provide facilities to people who cannot afford expenses of a reputable hospital and an encouragement of normal deliveries considering safety measures for free of cost.

We successfully conducted many deliveries during these months and we are glad that besides conducting safe birth and general medical care.

Our 'Starter kit Project' continues to be a success in which all babies born at our hospitals are given gifts, which include clothing and blankets for them. It has all been possible because of your donations.

The following are the intervention statistics or the months of August, September and October.

                                                    August        September        October

Total Number of Patients              23,756       23,550          25,824

Total Number of deliveries             148               87               112

Additional activities are always under our planning and execution!

Monthly Free medical camps for children are conducted, whereby our experienced pediatrician examined children with an option to avail polio vaccination and medicines free of cost.

However, the motive to provide safe birth has been successful with your support.
