Eighteen days ago, Abundance embarked on a fundraiser for establishing an eLearning Center at Mbando Village, a remote rural place in Malawi. Little did we know that our very first crowdfunding campaign would be such a huge success with support flooding in from across the world! Thank you for believing in our vision, thank you for making it your vision too! Today, we received a total of $5,438 from 66 donations, from donors in the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Canada, Qatar, South Africa, India, Philippines, Spain, Malawi, Swaziland and more.
During the 18 days, page views to our website and facebook page soared and donations came via various ways as indicated in the donations analytics. What we learned from this fundraiser is that there are many people who care about others. There are many good-hearted people around the world who would sacrifice and give for a worthy cause. We also learned that it really is a small world we live in and it’s amazing how we are all connected so easily. Even though Abundance team members are scattered in different parts of the world, we can jointly make efforts that work. We also learned from this fundraiser that no matter where we are we can all come together in a shared vision, the vision of improving lives of those less fortunate. We can all do our bit. And, they all count!

You helped us raise a total of $5,513! Donations came from United States, United Kingdom, Canada, India, Qatar, UAE, Singapore, Malawi, South Africa, Swaziland and many more. We had a total of 67 donations!
Having raised funds and surpassed the target, we want to go ahead full steam with implementing the project! We are in the process of finalising suppliers for solar panels, sourcing keepods, keepod-ready laptops and making furniture using a local carpenter. We will be updating you every major step along the way. Updates will also be posted on our website, facebook page and shared through twitter. You, as donors are our valuable partners in this project. Please be assured that every penny you donated will only be used for the project of the eLearning center.
