In the heart of rural cocoa communities, where poverty and limited amenities reign, access to quality healthcare services is a luxury that many cannot afford. But at Cocoa360, we believe that everyone, no matter their socio-economic background, deserves access to affordable and quality healthcare. That's why we've established the Rural Health Equity Program, centered around our Tarkwa Breman Community Clinic, where we provide top-notch healthcare services to our community members.
Our clinic provides a wide range of health services, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care, all at an affordable and subsidized rate. We understand that healthcare costs can be a huge burden on low-income families, and that's why we've gone the extra mile to ensure that treatment costs are reduced by up to 77-80%. Yes, you read that right! Our mission is to make healthcare services accessible to everyone, irrespective of their financial status.
Impact Details:
Over 17,303 patients served, with 4,725 children receiving regular healthcare.
$2 million in healthcare subsidies, reducing financial barriers to care.
10,097 malaria cases treated, 1,698 respiratory infections, and 1,490 hypertension cases managed—addressing major health challenges.
165 babies delivered safely and a 5x increase in postnatal care—supporting maternal and child health.
100% student vaccination rate for a healthier future
Moreover, we recognize and appreciate our elderly citizens, who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the community. As a token of gratitude, we offer free user fees for citizens aged 60 years and above. We believe that they deserve to enjoy their twilight years with dignity and respect, and our healthcare services reflect this commitment.
At Cocoa360, we believe that healthcare is a basic human right, not a privilege reserved for the wealthy. Our Rural Health Equity Program is our way of bringing that belief to life and ensuring that our community members have access to the care they need to live healthy, fulfilling lives. The Program is not just a program; it's a symbol of our love and commitment to the people of Tarkwa Breman and beyond.
