In another part of the Sud Department in Haiti, there are 55 women from 11 Joint Organizations participating in a planter micro credit program that started last season (March-June 2022). The ladies got between 10,000 and 15,000.00 gd to complete what they had to plant, maintain and harvest their fields. The women pay agricultural workers to help them work their fields. They plant peanuts, corn, beans, and other marshy crops such as spinach, peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, etc. Since starting this program in April 2022, the Southern Regional Monitor is also providing the necessary support for the realization of this project which should hapen later this year.
