Restoring Ayapel wetland planting together

The winter’s wave present in Ayapel, although it decreases, it has not stopped affecting the community, which continues to prevent the planting of trees.

Anyway, we have small sowing days, accompanied by different public entities and the youth of the community. In our last sowing we planted 70 trees and 300 yellow Guayacán seeds.

We continue with our environmental seedbed, achieving more and more awareness of the importance of caring for our environment, we achieve it through playful learning with days of recreation, fun and games, generating positive attitudes and education in being and knowing. 

We are believers that respect for the environment begins at home and also at school, our seedbed has elements of the natural environment, the built environment and the social environment: land, plants and trees, insects and wildlife, the supply of water, our beautiful swamp and sanitary facilities, trails and fenced spaces, places for recreation and study, social life and contacts with the outside world. Generating awareness in our children and adolescents about these environments and the way they learn to treat them will help them become responsible adults.

We have more than 80 children and adolescents in our seedbed and also with our project to collect usable material, we have been training days in schools and colleges.

In the follow-up that we carry out on the impact of our training, we can show that our children are the main spokespersons with families, which has been noted in the growth of families that recycle and care for green areas more and more every day.
