Ayapel is in crisis! The entire region is flooded due to the overflow of the Cauca River, the mightiest in the country. We have been completely flooded for 2 months, for this reason the planting of trees had to be suspended.
Before the floods we planted 1,500 more trees for a total of 3,500 trees this year.
We continue working with our nursery and planting more plants, but we must wait until the water goes down to restart the planting. We have approximately 3,000 trees ready to be planted.
With your donations we will keep the nursery ready for the new plantings. The nursery needs daily care such as watering the plants, removing the badly, fertilizing and pruning
