Project Report | Jul 4, 2022
Thanks for your Support!

By Thias Arriola | Author

Thanks to your support, we are providing mental and physical strength for 500 kids!

Nelson at science classes.

The wellness program has been very helpful for the everyday challenges that our students face. Our doctor has evaluated almost all the kids that are back in school and the results of malnutrition, due to the pandemic are worse than we envisioned. The nutritionist is working hand in hand with the kitchen staff and the doctor. We recently implemented a take-home meal and we are working on personalizing the breakfast meals according to the cases of malnutrition in our kids. Since February, we have provided more than 8,150 free meals in the project, and thanks to our supportive doctor, more than 50 preventive health treatments.

Third graders enjoy their yoga classes.

We are very proud and thankful to tell you that, thanks to this program, our psychologist has provided 152 free therapy sessions and has been personally treating the most troubled students. She also has held workshops with the teachers such as psychological first aid, sexual abuse, and human trafficking. And we are proud to announce our teachers have been trained professionally to officially implement sexual education in our core curriculum.

This program and treatments will continue and will be reinforced by our art therapy, sports therapy, and music therapy. These programs give our students the opportunity to overcome barriers to their physical and psychological health.

Ludwig is back at school after 2 years.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE TO HELP THESE KIDS IN THE WAY THEY DESERVE WITHOUT THE INCREDIBLE SUPPORT WE HAVE RECEIVED FROM OUR FAITHFUL DONORS. WE THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS.

MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!
