As the conflict in Syria continues, we are continuing to care for the thousands of children and families now in refugee camps. NBC Nightly News recently reported on the crisis in Syria, the displacement of its citizens to Jordan and Mercy Corps work with Syrian refugees. We want to share their video with you, so that you can witness where your donation is making a difference.
It is only because of your generous contribution that we have been able to provide the basics to these camps and communities. This past month we gave 1,600 Syrian refugee children in Lebanon winter coats to keep warm during one of the coldest and wettest winters they have experienced.
Even as they endure harsh conditions in the refugee camps, these kids in Baalbeck were all smiles after receiving their new coats. So thank you for helping to bring hope to these children's lives as they go through turmoil and uncertainty.
In gratitude,
Carlene
