We met our fundraising goal for this project by raising $5,025 from 43 donors in three weeks! As a result, we are able to provide medical care and neuter and spay surgeries for abandoned dogs in Santa Rosalia, Mexico. Our Dog Rescue Center can fully support over 50 rescue dogs that currently live there while we actively search for loving adoptive homes.
In just 3 weeks of this campaign, we found new homes for 5 dogs and our veterinarian did 17 neuter and spay surgeries. As a result of YOUR generosity, we can continue to increase adoption and improve medical care for the stray dogs of Santa Rosalía.
Juan Carlos adopted a new puppy named Cabezona (pictured together above). Cabezona was vaccinated and spayed while she was living at the Dog Rescue Center. She was thrilled to go home with Juan Carlos where she can receive the individualized attention and love she deserves.
This is just one project that is part of our larger mission to support the entire community. Keep an eye out for other upcoming projects that will be posted soon as part of our ongoing community improve effort from the Foundation Hagamos Mas.
