RNF September Update: Religious Literacy Project

By Tom Gallagher | President & CEO, Religion News Foundation

Dear Loyal Reader,
Thank you for your continued support of the Religion News Foundation’s Religious Literacy Project.

In June, I wrote to you about the creation of the Global Religion Reporting Initiative among Religion News Service, the Associated Press and the Conversation U.S. I am pleased to provide you an update: this initiative is well underway. The enhanced religion news wire is now available on the AP website. Three new journalists have been hired at RNS: Roxanne Stone as Managing Editor, Alejandra Molina as national reporter and Claire Giangravè as Vatican reporter. We are very pleased to have them as part of the team.

Last week, RNF and RNS staffers attended the Religion News Association's annual conference, this year held in Las Vegas. 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of RNA. RNF was pleased to be a lead sponsor of this conference.

Thank you for your continued support of RNF and RNS.

Sincerely,

Tom Gallagher
