Hello supporters around the world
We are yet again - SADLY- using a subject line we have used over and over. Clowning in times of war.
It seems like our region is always in some kind of war, or disaster. Here we are again facing loss and deaths. And here we are again wondering "is it the right time to clown around?".
The answer is always, YES. despite everything, we all need hope to be able to survive this injustice in this world.
Lately, Clown Me In has been going around some towns with human sized puppets, holding conversations with people. The impact has been great. People have been asking us to come back and been expressing how much they need this kind of activities. They need a form of normality which they are not getting on daily basis.
We have also doubled our effort and work in terms of MHPSS ( mental health psychosocial support sessions). We have been working with different groups in lebanon ( lebanese, syrian and palestinian). We also starting two new groups in Turkey.
So thank you again for your support.
and hopefully next time we write, the world will be in a better place.
