Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project helping those affected by flooding. Climate change is real and the effects to the lives of farmers is tremendous as changes in weather patterns makes farming a difficult enterprise. There is a need to provide farmers with climate-resilient alternative livelihoods aside from the usual crop production which oftentimes fail. With alternative livelihoods, the economic base of farming families is widened and the lack of food supply is mitigated. This reporting period we were able to provide training to 120 farmers on animal raising livelihood with the care of farm animals such as pigs, chicken, goats and rabbit. These are easy to raise in the backyard and they provide much-needed alternative income. Thanks too to local supporters who have provided us the technical support, training venue and logistics. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre
