Foundation employees thank you for your help!
Foundation employees thank you for your help!

Dear Donor,
your help changes the lives of people with disabilities, who come to our rehabilitation center to exercise under the guidance of specialists. We help them free of charge.

People in wheelchairs exercise in the gym and on a special device - the PRAGMA system. The device is featuring a safe elastic verticalization, which is crucial in gait re-education, active and passive exercises, and exercises involving all muscles and joints. The C-Eye allows communication with people of minimal state of consciousness - communication is obtained by tracking eyeball movements. Using the TDCS method, our specialists stimulate and help build neuronal connections in those areas of the brain where it is most needed. Since September, the children come every day for art therapy classes, and on occasion benefit from other forms of therapy and rehabilitation.

The Little Explorers summer camp for 20 children with intellectual disabilities took place at our rehabilitation center in August, 2021. The children had fun and developed their skills. They were looked after by the staff and 13 volunteers who had a really difficult task. Some of the children did not speak at all, some of them required 24-hour care. The volunteers accompanied the children while they were painting, making clay, dancing and playing instruments together.

Training for volunteers and our staff
On October 13 our staff planned further fundraising campaigns and communication with donors. Because it is with your help that we can change the quality of life of people with disabilities in Poland. On October 16 we organized a workshop for our volunteers. - We were able to better understand how a person with a mobility or visual impairment feels, and how an elderly person feels. - emphasized the volunteers, who thanks to various props were able to experience a specific type of disability, limitations and barriers... We also make instructional videos for people with disabilities at our center.

Thank you with gratitude for your help that empowers people with disabilities and helps them live despite their many limitations.
