Spring 2024 Uganda Refurb Wells Interim Report

Kakakala Village Mom at Refurbished Well
So far in 2024, fundraising on GlobalGiving has allowed BridgIT Water Foundation to refurbish five wells in rural Central Uganda.

Village Name                               People Impacted
Namirembe Wobwoko                           720
Kigalama                                               732
Nakivubo                                               750
Nakaseta                                               690
Kakakala                                               690
Total                                                   3,582

The 3,582 residents of these villages are now able to access safe, clean water within 500 meters of their homes. This is a huge improvement in the quality of life since the people no longer have to walk kilometers to collect dirty water for domestic use. These villagers thank you, our generous supporters, for your philanthropy which allows BridgIT to repair these broken wells.

June 30 marks the End of Fiscal Year (EOFY) in Australia. Fundraising prior to this date is important to BridgIT Water Foundation because it allows us to conclude the fiscal year with a bang, and it allows us to plan for the rest of 2024. If you are able, please consider donations prior to the EOFY. Thank you.
