Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative reducing the malnutrition of children by supplying food. Our best and proven method to supply children with food is to train their parents to grow their own backyard gardens and then guide them how to cook nutritious vegetable-based food. There are times that children do not eat vegetables and we try to encourage them by training their parents especially mothers. We supply vegetable seeds also and we do this by growing vegetables and then retrieving seeds from the mature ones for distribution to our farmer-beneficiaries. We are able to provide for 230 families in this manner during this reporting period. Hoping for your continuing support to this initiative. Thank you so much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre

Food supply via farm inputs in remote villages
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative reducing children's malnutrition in remote hard to reach villages. Children are the most vulnerable when food supply is dwindling and there is a need to provide continuous supply in a way that is sustainable and practical. Our approach in the past of providing direct food aid sometimes do not work because the families become dependent and do not do any work in order to improve food supply in the home. What we are doing this time is to engage the parents to grow their own food and we provide initial inputs to them. We were able to do this with 32 farmers during this reporting period and we hope to include more in the coming months. Thank you so much for your support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre

Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative reducing children's malnutrition by the supply of food to poor villagers. We are happy to report that because of your gift as well as local donors from our place we are able to support the needs of 300 children and their families by the provision of food as well as building the capacities of their parents in producing food on their own via backyard vegetable gardening. This is indeed commendable because once a garden is started they are continuing and the stream of harvest never ending. We made it a point for families to grow short term as well as long-term crops so that daily food can be sourced from the gardens. Of course, with families in very desperate situation such as during a disaster, we provide direct food aid comprising rice, noodles, milk and dried fish. Hoping for your continuing support to our endeavour. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre
