Dear Donor,
In northern Syria, the ongoing war for 14 years has left behind heartbreaking stories, with its negative effects unfolding day by day. One of these painful stories is that of Fatima, who lost both her husband and her only son, Khaled, in a single day—a tragedy she will never forget.
Eight years ago, Fatima’s husband and son were on their way to work, traveling from opposition-controlled areas to regime-held territory in Aleppo. Tragically, they were both shot by an unknown sniper and lost their lives instantly. From that moment on, Fatima found herself completely alone, with only her elderly mother, who has no one else left in this harsh world.
Forced to move from one place to another, Fatima eventually settled in a modest shelter with a fabric roof on the outskirts of Suran. Despite her hardships, she remained resilient but was in desperate need of support—especially during the blessed month of Ramadan.
Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide a complete food basket for Fatima and her mother, easing some of their burdens and bringing a bit of relief to their lives. Out of respect for her wishes, we did not take any photos of her, as this is her personal right, which we fully honor.
Yet, hundreds of similar stories are still waiting for your support. The need remains great, especially with the arrival of Ramadan, as thousands of families struggle with food shortages and basic necessities. Your continued donations can help provide food for those who have none and restore hope to those who have lost it.
Thank you for your generosity, which truly makes a difference in the lives of those in need. May your kindness be rewarded abundantly.
Together, we bring hope.
