Thanks to You, Hope Reaches Lamis' Family in Kafra Camp

By Hasan Sadik | Project leader

Dear Valued Donor,

Today, we bring you a message from Kafra Camp in northern Syria, where hope is born amidst suffering. One of the families that benefited from your generous support is the family of little Lamis. Despite the harshness of life, Lamis never stops smiling. She lives with her father, mother, elderly grandmother, and younger sister Rawaa in a humble tent lacking the simplest necessities of life.

Thanks to your kind donations, we were able to provide a food basket containing essential items such as rice, lentils, oil, bulgur, flour, pasta, and canned goods. This basket was not just food; it was a beacon of light for a family exhausted by displacement and a message that they are not alone.

We saw in Lamis' eyes and her family's an authentic joy, as if this support was a new hope restoring some of their lost dignity. Through your generosity, we were able to bring smiles to their faces and make their lives a little less harsh, even for a single day.

But there are still many families like Lamis’ waiting for this hope. Your continued donations are not just material support; they are a lifeline offering a new chance at life for families struggling to survive in unbearable conditions.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity that makes a difference. We invite you to continue this blessed giving because every helping hand extended today transforms tomorrow for an entire family.

With deepest gratitude and prayers,
Amal Al-Umma Team
