Dear Donor,
In light of the ongoing suffering of the Syrian people after more than a decade of continuous conflict, the humanitarian situation in the camps of northern Syria has become increasingly dire, especially with the drop in temperatures and the lack of basic services. These camps host thousands of displaced families who face harsh living conditions exacerbated by the absence of sufficient resources and support.
Following the collapse of the ruling regime in Syria, the entire country became open to the operations of humanitarian organizations. This has made it increasingly challenging to distribute aid and meet the massive needs of a country deeply scarred by 14 years of conflict. Today, delivering humanitarian support is a significant challenge that requires a collective and coordinated response to address the growing demands.
Thanks to your generous contributions, we continue to provide food baskets to the affected and needy families in these camps. Among the beneficiaries is the family of Hamza, a young boy who lives with his father, who suffers from diabetes, his mother, and two sisters in a small tent. This family struggles daily to secure their basic needs, as the father is unable to work due to his health condition, making it a constant challenge to provide for themselves.
Contents of the food basket:
The food basket includes essential items that families need, such as rice, lentils, sugar, tea, legumes, ghee, and other basic supplies that meet their daily needs. These baskets serve as a lifeline for many families living in extreme poverty within the camps.
The importance of continued donations:
Your continued generosity ensures that we can sustain this critical humanitarian work. The needs of these families continue to grow, especially with the arrival of winter, which adds additional burdens to their already difficult lives.
Acknowledgment and gratitude:
We are deeply grateful for your generosity and ongoing support. Thanks to your donations, we can stand by these families and provide them with the assistance they need to overcome these harsh circumstances. We hope that you will continue to support our humanitarian projects, which aim to alleviate the suffering of the needy and extend a helping hand to them.
Best regards,
