Dear Donor,
Today, we share with you the story of Abdo, a child whose eyes reflect a sorrow far beyond his years, yet his innocent smile still shines, carrying with it a spark of hope. Abdo lives with his mother and younger sister in a humble tent in the Tel Al-Daraj camp in northern Syria, after losing their protector many years ago to the harsh realities of life.
Amidst this struggle, Abdo's mother works tirelessly to provide for her family, while her children endure the bitter cold of winter and the pangs of hunger with resilience beyond their age. Thanks to your heartfelt generosity, we were able to ease a part of their suffering. The food basket you provided to Abdo’s family was not just a source of nourishment; it was a message of hope, filled with essentials like rice, lentils, oil, and legumes, enough to sustain them for a whole month.
What may seem like a small gesture to the world is, for them, an invaluable blessing. But there are still countless families like Abdo’s who are waiting for the touch of compassion. Your continued support is the only light in their darkest moments, the hope that keeps them holding on.
