Dear Esteemed Donor,
As temperatures drop to unprecedented lows this winter, the suffering of displaced families in northern Syria's camps continues to worsen. Thousands live in harsh conditions, lacking the most basic necessities, while every tent tells a story of hardship and resilience.
Among these heart-wrenching stories is that of Raad, a young boy who lives with his mother and two sisters in the Tel Al-Daraj camp in northern Syria. Four years ago, his father disappeared while attempting to migrate to Europe in search of a better life for his family. Since then, Raad has taken on the responsibilities of an adult, becoming the sole provider for his family. He works tirelessly, despite his young age, to meet their basic needs. However, the bitter cold and dire living conditions in their tattered tent have only magnified their struggles.
Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to extend support to Raad's family and many others in the camp. We provided essential food baskets containing items such as rice, bulgur, legumes, oil, sugar, tea, and canned goods. These provisions were not merely sustenance but a lifeline of hope, bringing comfort and warmth to those enduring unimaginable hardship.
Yet, the need remains immense, and the circumstances are more challenging than ever. Your continued support during this critical time can make a significant difference in the lives of families who have lost everything. Your contributions are a lifeline for those waiting desperately for a helping hand to lift them out of despair.
From the depths of our hearts, thank you for your generosity and trust. Through your giving, you have become a beacon of hope and resilience amid the darkness.
Together, we make a difference.
