Your contribution helps to save the life of newborn babies through quality medical treatment ………
In COVID 19 Pandemic, The PRIDE India’s SPARSH Rural Hospital is working with his full strength and dedication towards its commitment to Maternal and Child health through quality medical treatment services. In the Lockdown period, the SPARSH provided Ambulance services to ANC mothers and delivery mothers for pick up and drop. The other hospitals in the vicinity are refusing the patients due to the risk of COVID-19 spread and few other hospitals have been converted to fully COVID hospital. Hence there has been an increase in patient flow by almost three folds. In this crucial situation, we have been providing Material and Child health services by following precautionary measures in the hospital for safety for all patients including the Post Natal care ward. This initiative impacted 2132 expectant mothers and saved the lives of 590 newborn babies in Osmanabad district of Maharashtra state, India.
A testimony is mentioned below:
Ranuka (Name change), 23 years old women residing in Bembali village, 60 km away from SPARSH Rural Hospital Sastur came with pain in abdomen and leaking. She was in 32 week of pregnancy and this was her third pregnancy.
In the examination report her hemoglobin was found to be at 9% gms which was very low indicating a high-risk pregnancy. Thus, doctor taken decision for an emergency LSCS and prescribed antibiotics for prevention of chorioamnitis. After medical process, she delivered a baby girl child with weight of 2 kg. A proper post-natal check-up and care was provided to both mother and child in the hospital. At the time of discharge her haemoglobin level increased upto 10 % gms.
Now, mother and child are safe and happily discharged from the hospital after counselling of the family members on the importance of health and hygiene practices at home. Her family members thanked the doctor and team for timely support.
The PRIDE team would like to support many more such pregnant mothers through timely medical support…..
Thanks for all your support to the cause. Request you to join hands to support many more.
