As part of our efforts to make basic healthcare accessible for all, a free Multi Diagnostic Camp was organized by The PRIDE India on 19th October 2019 in association with the National Health Mission, Osmanabad and with the support of its well-wishers.
This camp was organized at Post Rava Hipperga to Lohara District, Osmanabad in the most interior rural areas where many of these villages have no healthcare facilities or even a qualified health worker. Such camps organized help needy patients’ with timely medical treatment.
The 8 medical team members included Physicians, Gynecologist, Orthopedic, Pediatrician, Dentist and ENT specialist who provided free physical examination, medications and free immediate medical testing to the people. Around 561 patients were screened and around 229 patients were provided with immediate medical testing.
Due to the benefit of the multispecialty team, the doctors could cover various sicknesses and illnesses and provide timely treatment and right time referrals. Most importantly, medical counseling and guidance were also provided to the patients who had attended the camp.
Many patients thanked The PRIDE India and its supporters for organizing such medical camps as it gave them a huge sigh of relief.
