A special health check-up camp was organized for the elderly with the focus on Ayurveda treatment for geriatrics patients in our outreach villages. The camp was organised by a team of doctors from a nearby town Turjapur. The team of doctors was headed by Dr. Patil. Majority of the patients complained and were diagnosed of knee issues. Thorough check-up was done and the patients were advised exercises and follow up was fixed with them. 378 patients had participated in the health camp. The patients were very happy and found themselves fortunate as it would now become a regular feature with the hospital. The doctors were overwhelmed by the number of patients and decided to visit SPARSH once a week for follow-up.
The beneficiaries immensely thanked The PRIDE India and the well-wishers & supporters for such treatments and initiatives as their age becomes is a big risk factor.
