Caring for the mother and newborn children is at the core of all our healthcare interventions. Therefore we continuously take steps to ensure healthier generations. The SPARSH hospital has an exclusive ward for Post Natal Care of mothers and infants, the labour room is equipped for all kinds of high risk delivery and operations, we also provide a round the clock pick and drop facility to all expectant mothers and mothers with newborn children. Moreover, our experienced and dedicated staff ensures that all patients are provided individualised expert care.
Last month, our newly built NBSU (New Born Stabilisation Unit) has become fully functional. The NBSU was made with the objective to provide extra care to the sick newborns born within the hospital. It also acts as the teaching and training hub for imparting the skills of newborn care. The unit will strengthen our efforts to reduce early neonatal deaths through the provision of individualized clinical care. The scaling-up of clinical care for sick neonates will be vital for bringing Infant Mortality Rate(IMR) down taking us closer to our goal of healthier future generations in the villages.
