Grow brighter futures for 360 Guatemalan children

2025 kicks off with a significant milestone: 5 new schools and 102 children enrolled! Every step we take with the incredible partner organizations brings us closer to a future where more communities in Guatemala have access to high-quality preschool education. Our main goal is to ensure that this quality remains high, providing children with the best possible foundation for learning. At the same time, we are excited to connect with new families and communities, fostering meaningful relationships that strengthen our impact. Looking ahead, we hope to reach even more communities and continue expanding opportunities for early childhood education in Guatemala. Take a glance to new schools:

Nachok, an organization in remote Alta Verapaz, is adopting our methodology as well. Over the next three years, we’ll strengthen their school in Coban, as a model for expansion. We hope this opportunity will help us to expand in new communities around Guatemala.

The playground at the Community Center is now home to 17 students! Community facilitators, Katy and Juana, took the intensive training and learned the best of the PS methodology. Due to the increasing need for preschool education in the community, we decided to expand our early stimulation program into a full preschool.

For the first time La Vega de Godinez, San Martín Jilotepeque, have access to preschool education! We’ve opened doors to 20 eager learners, giving them the chance to grow, play, and learn close to home. The local government provides a classroom and daily snacks, while PSI ensures quality education with a trained teacher, plus ongoing training and support.

Little Angels of Mary works in Santa Apolonia, Chimaltenango. They run two preschools in partnership with the public school system. Their community-hired teachers ensure high-quality education and strong commitment to the methodology.
