Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation to our project supporting indigent children. This reporting period, we provided support to young mothers in their effort to raise their young kids by teaching them about the benefits of breast feeding. The effort of multinational milk companies to promote their products is enormous and young mothers usually follow the practice of using commercial milk in feeding their children. The value of breast milk in terms of nutrition, prevention of diseases and providing vitamins and other benefits cannot be over emphasized. Two of our field workers are conducting education campaigns so that mothers will practice breast feeding. For this reporting period, we were able to educate a total of 34 young mothers living in 3 villages in Albuera, Leyte.
