Dear Supporters,
Thank you very much for your donations that have made possible the distribution of 36,000 masks and 270,000 fliers on how to make do-it-yourself masks. These masks were given to doctors, nurses, and other first responders in New Delhi and three other major cities. The fliers were printed in four different dialects and were distributed in the crowded slums and rural villages of Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
Your donations certainly saved lives and made a difference in the lives of many in these cities and rural villages.
SevaChild is now shifting its focus to providing food rations to hungry -- and at times starving -- families in New Delhi, Dehradun, and Hyderabad. The pandemic and lockdown have been especially hard on the poor who have no resources to stock up on food. Many have been prevented from working for over three months now.
Please look for our campaign to provide food rations to hungry families on the GlobalGiving platform in the near future.
Thank you again for your support.
Sincerely,
Rick Carlton
Director
