The NDES Foundation donated 07 White Canes for Blind children at the Rehabilitation Institute for the Blind in Buea, a Town in the South West Region of Cameroon- Africa on the 08th of August 2020.
The NDEF's project was aimed at providing 40 children at the Rehabilitation Institute for the Blind Buea with white canes to improve the quality of their daily lives. These children go about their daily lives without White canes which poses serious risks of injuries and falls especially in the raining season.
Nonetheless, because of the insufficiency of funds, the NDES FOUNDATION was able to donate 09 White Canes, after raising $625 on GlobalGiving.
The Foundation continues to visit the center and talking with these kids and the management of the center.
