Syria in Crisis: A New Wave of Tragedy Strikes!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve treated hundreds of urgent and routine medical cases in northwest Syria, saving lives and bringing hope where it’s needed most. Your support has made a profound impact—thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

But today, the situation is dire. Unprecedented military escalation has shaken northern Syria, leaving thousands in life-threatening conditions.

Just two days ago in Ariha, tragedy struck. A school was targeted by shelling, resulting in heartbreaking scenes of destruction. Three innocent children lost their lives, and 14 others—many of them now in intensive care—are fighting to survive in one of SEMA’s hospitals.

This is a moment we cannot ignore. Ongoing shelling is displacing thousands, overwhelming our hospitals, and putting lives at immediate risk. With your help, we can respond to this urgent crisis:

  • Deliver lifesaving medications and supplies to the injured.
  • Strengthen emergency medical services to handle the surge in patients.
  • Support intensive care for children and others fighting for their lives.

The road ahead is long, but your generosity can bring hope and healing to those facing unimaginable tragedy.

Thank you for standing with us and those in need during this critical time. Together, we can be the light in their darkest hours.
