One of the most important ways we've contributed to saving lives, especially for the most vulnerable groups like women and children, is through our support for intensive care units in SEMA hospitals in northern Syria. Do you know how many lives your donations have saved?
Meet Joud, a child, arrived at one of SEMA hospitals after a serious car accident with a family member. Our doctors immediately decided to transfer him to the intensive care unit where it was revealed, after examinations, that he had a minor brain injury.
Thanks to your donations, two days ago, Joud's ventilator was removed, and he is now in good health, awaiting the doctor's permission to go home.
