In the last three months, our team have been working really hard to make this dream come true.
In October, we started the construction of a greenhouse of 48 m2. This was made with wood and polycarbonate. The result is a huge greenhouse, with enough space for plant and for the community, to give knowledge around the appropriate maintaining of a garden, organic waste recycling and the importance of urban gardens in our environment.
After the construction, we planted a lot of species: lettuce, melons, tomatoes, basil, corn, broccoli and others. In December, we were able to harvest the first vegetables. All this food was shared with the community, all organic and high quality.
We've learned a lot about the maintenance of a greenhouse, and to show the community, we are organizing workshops for adults, and kids. Our purpose is promoting urban gardens, responsibility and environmental care.
Thanks for the support.
